After 7 weeks of racing, the final results are in - just click here. Overall, $6685 was given out to top finishers - quite a bit of cash, plus a 3 Day Custom Season Pass to Solitude as well as a cross bike frame generously donated by Cannondale.

Week 6 Results

Here are the results from Week 6's race. They are listed in order of total series points, so you can exactly where you are in the money standings. Make sure to show up for the final week, next Tuesday, August 5. In addition to having cash on hand for the top finishers in Sport, Expert and Pro categories, we'll be holding a drawing for a Cannondale bike frame, a Custom Season Pass to Solitude, as well as the usual great raffle prizes from Zoic, Vaude, SkullCandy, Pearl Izumi, Northwave and more. ...and then there were two.

Two races left that is. With Week 5 in the books (results here) you have two chances left to climb in the points standings. The payouts have grown in large part due to great turnout from riders - so keep telling all your friends to come and race and continue to grow the pot.
The last two weeks will be the ones you don't want to miss: great prizes from SkullCandy, as well as Northwave, Zoic, Vaude and more. The final race, in addition to having cash on hand for the winners, we'll have a drawing for a 3 Day Season Pass to Solitude, a Cannondale bike frame and much much more.
Let's not forget the kiddies - Sam, Josh and Tate took first, second and third in the one-lap kids division and Drew, Haley and Eli cleaned up in the two lap division.

Week 4 Results

4 down, 3 to go. Most racers posted their personal best times of the series this week. Here are the results. If you want to figure out your "real" time, based on when you actually started, as opposed to the running official time here are the splits for the staggered start, as far as I can remember.

Week 3 Results and photos

Another week, another great turnout. The series keeps getting better: the times continually improve, the heckling gets funnier, and sweet rafle prizes keep rolling through the door. Next week expect some love from Liberty Mountain and SkullCandy. We still plenty of great schwag to give away from Northwave, Zotes, Zoic, Pearl Izumi and more. The results are posted here, so you can figure out you need to catch in the points standing, as well as who may be trying to catch you!

Week 2 Results

75 racers showed up for Week 2, so I guess it is safe to say the word is out! With the increased ridership, we are going to be able to increase the payouts for each class. We'll get the new amounts published in a week or two, but for now, keep racing and keep growing that pot!
A really cool side note, is that we had 17 kids race in our kids race, with Coner, Tucker and Cale winning in their respective classes. Several families came all the way up to Solitude just so their kids could race, which is great. I hope this trend continues and more and more little racers come out each week.

The race is...ON!

The last few patches of snow are well on their way to melt out, so make sure you are here Tuesday to help us kick off the 2008 Midweek Series. Race headquarters is at Entry 1 to Solitude, with the race bell ringing at 6:30. Registration begins at 5:45. See you there!

2008 Full Throttle Midweek Series Dates Announced

Back by popular demand! Part Duex! Bigger & better! How's that for enthusiasm? We really can't contain our excitement, and neither can most of last year's participants knocking down our door already.

Here's the skinny: Solitude will host our Second Annual Tuesday evenings bike series throughout the 2008 summer. Registration will be at 5:45 PM the day of the race. Race mass start at 6:30 PM. $12/race. Moonbeam Lot - Entry 1.

The Series comes together thanks to Full Throttle Energy Drink, Peak Fasteners, Revolution Bike Shop and Cannondale Bicycles. This seven event series will offer competition to all fields of ability levels. Beginners will complete one loop on a scenic, yet challenging 4 mile singletrack course. Intermediate and expert riders will tackle this course two and three times, respectively. A short children’s race will precede the race each night, making this a great event for families.

Guaranteed $2000 cash purse for top three Men and Women Pro/Expert and Sport class finishers; plus nightly prize raffles. Take a look at the post below for an idea of what the payouts were last season. This years purse has doubled last years total already, with the potential to grow even larger depending on participation.
